Clarity
Describe the service accurately. Ask questions where information is incomplete. Make deliverables and exclusions understandable before work begins. Clear language helps clients assess whether an engagement fits their needs.
Care
Consider the people, information and environments affected by the work. A document, device or shared space can carry responsibilities that are not obvious at first glance. Those responsibilities belong in the scoping conversation.
Accountability
Identify who owns each activity and who can approve changes. Make decisions and handovers reviewable. When a concern arises, a defined point of contact helps the right people address it.
Practicality
Choose an approach that fits the actual requirement. A larger system or longer task list is not automatically more useful. Consider maintainability, available resources and the people who will use the result.
